Today I was having a day off so I decided to surf Youtube for some new treasures... and what did I find... a Live performance by Paddy McAloon ( Prefab Sprout's great singer/songwriter) performing with Jimmy Webb. The song is classic Jimmy Webb song 'The Highwayman' . This arrangement with a big orchestra is GREAT! The world seems to be full of great music!

Spring, sun, feeling happy and restless :)!!!!

The spring is finally here. A year ago I was staying at Ventspils International Writer's House writing lyrics and making translations of older works. Now I miss the cosy athmosphere of the house and the lovely people there so much. A new project, "Siberian plumtrees and magical nights" is due to be on the road in autumn, some lyrics from Ventspils period will be included with new music as well as older stuff. The whole projet is very exiting: Music and photography on stage at the same time! But now, the sun is shining and back to work!
